- The content of the programs will be determined primarily by outside experts, selected for their objectivity, stature in their fields and knowledge of the needs of teachers and students.

- Only knowledgeable, highly skilled writers, directors and producers will be selected to create the programs.

- The programs will be free and easily accessible to any public school in the country, including the states that are outside of ConocoPhillips' marketing area.

- The programs will focus on critical classroom needs and not on forwarding ConocoPhillips' interests or promoting its products. Company acknowledgement will be limited to brief visual identification at the beginning or end of each program.

- Free written materials, including teacher's guides and other learning aids, will be made available with every program to reinforce concepts through hands-on exercises and experiments.

- Whenever possible, ConocoPhillips will partner with a nationally recognized body, such as MATHCOUNTS and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to produce and distribute programs.
