Left or Right Brain?Assign your students to find out the
main processes of the brain’s right and left hemispheres. Then discuss which sex seems to be more right- or
left-brain dominant. (The right hemisphere
reflects preferences for creativity, risk-taking and emotional, spiritual and intuitive
preferences. The left hemisphere reflects
preferences for analyzing, solving problems logically, getting facts, organizing,
arranging, attention to detail and seeking control of the situation. Research shows that the majority of males are
right-brain dominant and the majority of females are left-brain dominant.
